It’s official, we won the November Big Gig!
I (Mike) delivered the 5 minute pitch that won the crowd over at the Boomhouse Resteraunt. I explained, to the best of my ability, the Maine Game’s successes, where we were going, and why our after school group is most deserving of the $250 prize. Luckily, my message resonated with the crowd and we got the most votes when everything was said and done.
It was an honor and a privilege to speak alongside Tim Carpenter, the Shade Doctor of Maine and Andrew Kidder of Dusty’s Toys. I believe we all did wonderful jobs and the exposure of our businesses and a big stage to put them on display was a great honor. If anyone has a need for any sort of window covering or a repair of a vn existing one, please don’t hesitate to contact Tim. Alternatively, if your dog could use an amazing toy or 2, please go buy one of Dusty’s Toys many available options.
Now we can focus on continuing to make a high quality suite of STEM based video games for The Maine Discovery Museum and pitch again in April.
